I thought this might be an interested one. Not typical of shows – no traders – and everyone playing the same battle. We must be able to pull all/most of the stuff together already, so would concentrate on the battlefield and periphery.

As there are 6 teams and 5 games, you get to play each other member of your group. So, no good/bad draws here!

as far a refreshments go –
“I’m told that The Icon Café will be open for Breakfast and Lunches both days. There is also an ‘honesty bar’ on site too for out of hours refreshments.

For evening food there is a McDonalds the other side of the roundabout, behind Halfords (c.800yrd) plus various fast food establishments in town.

The iCon café food is great. Very decently priced, the portions and quality are good (the Roast at previous shows has been outstanding). The café and honesty bar stock crisps, chocolates and alcoholic beverages, including the excellent local ‘Nobby’s Brewery’ beers. 😀

Teas, juices, coffees and snacks will be available during the morning from the café (we have had waitress service too), and during the afternoon from a flask arrangement.
