Team entries are now in. Lists to be in 20th September (2 weeks !!)

notes –
Army lists should be submitted by e-mail to the organiser, Kevin Johnson (kevinj@btinternet.com), preferably in Excel format, AT LEAST 2 WEEKS before the date of the competition. Please do not send lists in with the competition entry. If you do not already have it, the BAD Wargamers’ website (http://www.badwargamers.org.uk/) has an ideal spreadsheet on the Downloads page.
Anyone submitting a late list will be “outscouted” (for the first round only) and will deploy their entire army before their opponent, irrespective of the initiative roll. Once submitted, lists may not be amended except to correct errors identified by the list checker.

so it looks like we have a tentative 6. That being Pete, Jon, Lynnette, Simon G, Steve and myself.

Pete has expressed a preference for pool 1
Lynnette has expressed a preference for pool 2
Steve has expressed a preference for pool 3

so that sort of makes up one team. Its just deciding one pools for the others. Comments?

Hi Jon,

I bought the book, and it was … OK. The games seemed a bit ill thought out. Maybe I’m wrong. I thought we could have a club game with multiple games all featuring the destruction of Varus’s army… see the front page. This might spring board some interest. there are 6 scenarios that we could work through

Time to think about Derby 2014. We had 2 teams last year. So far – Pete & Jon have expressed an interest. Lynnette? are you still looking to play?

We have 3-4 so far , so any others would be handy to make the 6.
