Here is a thing – and it might turn out to naught. You may have seen that the battlefront double sided battlemats have a bit of a chequered history. Now they have finally arrive the final indignation is that they have been cut under the wrong tension, so have actually shrunk! They are ~1″ short on a the dimensions. So it might be that retailers might send them back or battlefront might play hardball and say tough. The shop in town has a couple and is trying to return them … it if doesn’t happen then he is likely to try and shift them for cost. Now, for SB that 1″ isn’t probably going here nor there if cut in half and the grid might be 1/8″ smaller . So it might they might be £40~ so halved that’s £20 for a double sided SB mat (green and desert). BF might do the decent and take them back but if they don’t maybe there might be some cheap mats coming up.
