ModeratorHi all, I’ve booked the evening for the 7th of July for the archery have-a-go as discussed at the AGM.
It runs from 6.30 to 8pm, so I’d suggest getting there for around 6pm so you can get set up with the equipment you’ll need ready to start promptly at 6.30.
The cost for the evening is £10 per head and includes a light buffet and use of the bar afterwards. I’ll need numbers to pass on to the archery club a couple of weeks beforehand to let them sort out the buffet and equipment.
The more we can get to go, the better it will be so friends and family would be more than welcome.
Rest assured I’ll badger everyone over the next few months with reminders and for pennies. 😎May 11, 2015 at 8:36 pm #1074Jason Dawson
ModeratorJust a reminder that its not all that long to go to the have-a-go evening, so its getting time to put your names down and let me have some pennies as soon as you can.
Ideally I need to let the club know numbers by mid June so they can organise the buffet and make sure the right number of coaches are on hand to help. Cheers, JasonMay 13, 2015 at 1:23 pm #1116

ModeratorHi all, going to need some pennies off everyone for the archery before the end of the month so they can book the buffet. I’m down Tuesdays as normal from now on, and as an aside, does anyone need a game next Tuesday? Cheers, J

ModeratorFor anyone not sure of where to go on Tuesday theres a page on the BBA website that has some directions, the address is http://www.burtonbridgearchers.co.uk and its on the contact page as a pdf. The traffic can be quite bad in Burton at that time of night as well so it might be worth making an allowance for it. See you all there, Cheers, J
Jason, thanks for this.
Noting your point about how busy the traffic may be – I’ll get into Burton early that day and give Spirit Games a visit. Ray

ModeratorHi all, I’ve booked the evening for the 5th of July for the archery have-a-go this year. Its the same as last year and runs from 6.30 to 8pm, so I’d suggest getting there for around 6pm so you can get set up with the equipment you’ll need ready to start promptly at 6.30.The cost for the evening is £10 per head and includes a light buffet and use of the bar afterwards. Theres also an open day on the 17th of April from 1pm to 4pm if anyone wants to get a bit of practice in!! I’ll put a poster up in the Priory Centre next week with more details of that.<br/> -
