I’ve tracked down a decent scenario for a multi-player FOGR evening game. I could use up to 8 players with a minimum of 4. Its a Swedish versus an Allied army of – wait for it – Danish/Dutch/imperial/Brandenburg/Poles.
As usual with scenario games there is an interesting back story and one or two events that will make it more than just a points contest. Any interest and a suggestion for a date? I think I can make any Tuesday/Thursday for the foreseeable future.
Andy
I’d be up for it, as I’m sure would others

I’d be up for it too. I can do any date. Don’t know about Wayne though cos he’s working away a lot at the moment.
Pleased to hear there was plenty of interest in this at the club on Thursday. General consensus was for Thursday Feb 5th.
There were actually 2 brothers in command roles on the Danish side in this battle, so that’s Simon and Dene sorted.
Andy
First – congrats to the Simons on their win at Godendag.
Second – I’ve been asked what units will be needed for the FOGR scenario on 5th Feb so:
Allies: 17 Cuirassier (1 as Polish Pancerni)
1 Croat LC
6 Dutch Foot (4M 2P) Pike are armoured
2 Danish Foot (6M) No pike used here apparently
4 Medium Guns
Swedes: 12 Cuirassier
1 Dragoon
4 Foot (4M 2P)
4 Medium Guns
I can supply the Swedish foot, guns and 5 cavalry.
The Swedes look heavily outnumbered as usual, but points wise its only about 1620 v 1380.
Cheers,
Andy
Hi Andy
I’ve got a LaDLG tournament next weekend, and Ray has asked me for a practice. So I’ve got to drop out of this game. Let me know if you still need me to bring the Cuirassiers
Sorry for any convenience
Simon
