Just an update on where we are with this.\u00a0 As its taken a bit of organising. The Orbats for the Eastern and Western armies are<\/p>\n

So that is about 85K vs 78K combatants. There is still some working out of the scale we’ll be attempting. But as it stands its about 1 base = 500 men. That works out to be about 170 stands a side.<\/p>\n

As there is quite a lot of pontification of the troops at various points of the battlefield I might skew the scale towards the areas where the fighting takes place.<\/p>\n

I’m not going to stick 100% to history as there were big surprises and events that we can’t keep as a surprise – if you look it up! So it will be a flavour of the battle!<\/p>\n

But we’ll probably zoom in on the top left portion. It depends if the board game element is picked up – not so far…<\/p>\n

So we are nearly there. So far players are Simon G, Andy, Dene, Wayne , Lynnette. But there is plenty more space,\u00a0 up to 4 per side easily<\/p>\n
