Jutland relics unearthed ahead of titanic battle’s centenary

Historians in Portsmouth are examining the battle ensigns flown by some of the 150 British warships at Jutland ahead of the battle’s 100th anniversary.
The silk standards are stained by the fire and soot of the action fought in the North Sea on May 31 1916.
