ModeratorThis was a bit of an experiment. But I think it would be a good alternate venue for one day games etc. So, I will suggest we arrange a periodic one-dayer in the future.

ModeratorTo be clear, this is a game at a gaming centre. So it could range from bustling to empty. Anything we do we should be happy to play with no one around. It is more the case that if anyone expresses an interest we engage.
I’ve not specified any game, as it really depends on whether anyone wants to help out. My default would be just to play an M2 (TTS!) type game (repeat of Partizan). But its what anyone wants to do really … Cowboys … Zombies etc. We just want something that is eye-catching.
thanks

ModeratorAny volunteers to organise a game on for Newark on 9th October 2022? I’ll ask at the club tonight. But if I don’t hear anything by the end of the week, I’ll got back to Richard with a negative
thanks

ModeratorAs the one dayer is next weekend… I’d like to get a better idea on who wants to participate. All the figures are sourced now – so we good for that. Just need to get an idea of number of players. So far we have confirmed
Simon
Logan
Simon G
Dene G
Pete GThere is no limit on the number we can take. So if you fancy a bit of school fantasy now is the time to chirp up

ModeratorOne day game 3rd July. I’d like ask 2 questions –
1. Who is wishing to participate in the game on the 3rd (Orcs vs Elves)
2. Does anyone have any Orcs/Goblins or Elves to contibute?

ModeratorClub weekend Away
Just as an update on this. I have spoken to Steve and we are looking at 8 rooms, 2 singles, 5 zip n links, so doubles or twins and a junior suite with a double and a sofa bunkbed for kids.
Date-wise we are looking Nov/Dec TBC. Looking at staying on Fri & Sat … maybe Sunday.
More info as I get it.

ModeratorJust to confirm 10th April is now booked for the next one-day-game.
The REG DEFENESTRATION OF STRETTON will be occurring if you are interested please let me know so I can plan what it looks like.
If it doesn’t float your boat its as standard one-day-game open house for anyone else to attend and play what they like
thanks

Moderatorjust a note to say this disount runs out on the 31st Oct
thanks

ModeratorWith heavy heart I’m making the decision to cancel this event. Other events are being cancelled around this time, and the review of government guidelines on the 1st Oct is just too close for our event.
People have already being contacted me saying they are on a risk list, and I can’t guarantee what the venue will be like. I just think it too much risk for me to go ahead. I hope that by Oct things are better but I’d just like to call it now, just to avoid and last minute hassles.
Hopefully 2021 can see us gather again!
thanks
