    Hi there

This December sees the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. It would be great to do a demo game that could go to 1-3 shows and be used for one day games.
    Can I suggest the following:
    1. We do a scenario from the siege of Bastogne. Specifically the 19th December attack by 26th VG Division on the village of Bizory, defended by 158th Engineer Battalion and elements 501st Parachute Regt.
    2. We could put it on at a show in the latter part of the year: Partizan, Derby or Reading. As I said might also make a god one day game.
    3. Big challenge would be an 8′ by 6′ snow-covered terrain board. I’ll happily make the boards from high-density insulation, and store it in my cellar. The club will need to buy more trees (which would be dipped in modelling snow)and maybe some additional buildings (to make Bizory as a centre-piece).
    Anyone up for this?

Might I suggest that we look at a printed vinyl mat, such as –

    rather than rigid boards.

Peter put together a proposal for BF show themed terrain which is nice and prolly would suit.

Figures are the easy bit. I’m sure everyone has them already? I’ve got American in great coats etc
