I knew there was something else i had to say at the AGM. I’m speaking to folk in the BHGS about ‘other stuff’, but a topic that cropped up was Badcon affiliation with the BHGS? That would mean getting on the the mailshots, more exposure, and access to the online booking system ( finally committing chequebooks to history – hurrah)

Seemed like a reasonable thought? views?

even if you didn’t want to go the BHGS route, I did look at the online tickets options. Its easy to set up .. so for Eventbrite the service fee is 3.5% +.49p so, that £1.68 on the £34 ticket. To allow credit card payment thats a 2% surcharge .. another 60p. So just over £2 in total which you can just add to the ticket price.

This all just gets paid into your bank account, easy..
