Just an update on where we are with this.  As its taken a bit of organising. The Orbats for the Eastern and Western armies are

So that is about 85K vs 78K combatants. There is still some working out of the scale we’ll be attempting. But as it stands its about 1 base = 500 men. That works out to be about 170 stands a side.

As there is quite a lot of pontification of the troops at various points of the battlefield I might skew the scale towards the areas where the fighting takes place.

I’m not going to stick 100% to history as there were big surprises and events that we can’t keep as a surprise – if you look it up! So it will be a flavour of the battle!

So we are nearly there. So far players are Simon G, Andy, Dene, Wayne , Lynnette. But there is plenty more space,  up to 4 per side easily
